Computer Games

Sidescrolling

Metal Slug 3 is a 2d run and gun video game developed by SNK. It was originally released in 2000 for the Neo-Geo MVS arcade platform as the sequel to Metal Slug 2/Metal Slug X. The game was later ported to the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Virtual Console, Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android, Wii, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.  It received generally positive reviews.

isometric

Project Zomboid is a 2d isometric open world survival horror video game in development by independent developer The Indie Stone. The game is set in a post apocalyptic, zombie infested world where the player is challenged to survive for as long as possible before inevitably dying. It was also one of the first five games released on the alpha funding section of the gaming portal Desura.

Flash

Gunblood is a 2d flash game where you play as cowboys having a duel to see who is the fastest on the draw.

Anime

Bleach: The Blade of Fate, known in Japan as Bleach DS Sōten ni Kakeru Unmei is a 2D Fighting game that features the cast of characters from the popular Bleach anime and manga. The Japanese version also features Nintendo's WFC, allowing players to connect and play against players all over the world. The game modes include story mode, arcade mode, VS mode, training mode, challenge mode, and survival mode, time attack mode and Urahara shop. The game's theme song is "Ichirin no Hana" by High and Mighty Color.

Abstract

Tetris is a 2D Soviet tile-matching puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov. It was released on June 6, 1984, while he was working for the Dorodnicyn Computing Centre of the Academy of Science of the USSR in Moscow. He derived its name from the Greek numerical prefix tetra-(all of the game's pieces contain four segments) and tennis, Pajitnov's favorite sport.

Music Video

"Clint Eastwood" is a song by British virtual band Gorillaz, released as the first single from their self-titled debut albumin March 2001. The song is named after the actor of the same name due to its similarity to the theme music of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The song is a mix of electronic music, dub, hip hop and rock. The verses are rapped by Del the Funky Homosapien, portrayed as a blue phantom in the video, while the chorus is sung by 2D (voiced by Damon Albarn).

Film

Mulan is a 1998 American animated musical action-comedy-drama film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. The 36th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics, it was directed by Tony Bancroft and Barry Cook, with story by Robert D. San Souci and screenplay by Rita Hsiao, Philip LaZebnik, Chris Sanders, Eugenia Bostwick-Singer, and Raymond Singer. Ming-Na, Eddie Murphy, Miguel Ferrer and BD Wong star in the English version, while Jackie Chan provided his voice for the Chinese dubs of the film. The film's plot takes place during the Han Dynasty, where Fa Mulan, daughter of aged warrior Fa Zhou, impersonates a man to take her father's place during a general conscription to counter a Hun invasion.
